Where are you from, originally? What brought you to LA?
I’m from Westchester, NY. I really came out to LA to just build my network. I think you can network more effectively in LA because in NY you almost already have to be in certain circles. In LA, you can just meet people. It’s kind of more open.
Describe your personal style, in three words.
East Coast Renaissance.
East-Coast-Renaissance. I like that. I don’t know what the fuck that means but it sounds ill, haha.
Who/what inspires you, style wise?
Everything around me. Architecture, people, texture.
If you could apprentice to/pick the brains of three designers, who would they be?
Tinker Hatfield, Carrozzeria Pinin Farina, and whoever built the pyramids.
What do you feel it takes to have a timeless style?
I feel like knowing the basics of what a man’s wardrobe should consist of leads to timeless style. On another note, I feel like inherit style can’t be taught. You just have it, or you don’t.
You’re given $250,000, on the condition you account for every penny. How do you spend it?
I would first invest in my future. I would invest most of that money into my footwear line which will launch in the next few years. I also might have to take a trip. Paris or maybe Brazil. Then I would use any left overs to celebrate with friends and family.
What surprises people most to learn about you?
That I am so young.
How old are you?
18.
What attracted you to DOPE?
Just seemed like a breath of fresh air from what the block was previously offering.
What does Bougie Crew mean to you?
To me, it means to be fresh no matter what. To be fresh whether you are wearing sweatpants and sneakers or you’re wearing a fully tailored suit. Bougie Crew.
What do you want most to be remembered for?
You’ll see in a couple of years when I launch my footwear line.
